The layout of the spa is an important element as well. Most spas are divided into a lot of smaller rooms for the various types of treatments so the larger rooms should be nice and open and relaxing. Having a nice bathroom and locker room in addition to a tranquility room to go to in between your services makes the whole spa experience a relaxing one. A nice locker room with plush robes, lockers and private shower and changing areas complete with organic soaps and cleansers are all something that should be provided.
